Please Volunteer Sooner Than Later
We build the pairs of Volunteers and their children as the foundations of all age group rosters beginning on the day Registration opens. Remember – pre-assignment requests are allowed only for coaches (U7 and older), team parents (U5 and U6) and Division Reps who volunteer to serve all the children, with a maximum of two volunteers per team.
Who Can Coach
SABR recruits and develops coaches and assistant coaches.
All Coaches and Volunteers who are at least 18 years old must register with Florida Youth Soccer Association. Volunteers are “Adults” if they are 18 years old or older, including any volunteer that will become 18 during the 12 months of August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026. FYSA administrates Risk Management for compliance with local, state and Federal requirements to identify and mitigate risks in our soccer community to protect youth athletes statewide.
All coaches, new or returning, are expected to attend one or more coaches’ clinics. All clinics are free of charge and feature licensed members of the U.S. Soccer Federation national staff. Attendance is recorded for verification.
To register with FYSA, log in to your GotSport account, go to the Background Check tab, and click ‘Submit New Report.’ Enter your full legal name and required details for national and state-level screenings.
NOTE: you will need to consistently enter the exact same name and email address on all all required compliance requirements forms.
