Payments: Tax Forms
SABR referees are independent contractors, and any referee earning $600 or more annually must complete an IRS Form W-9. This form can be completed online at IRS.gov, downloaded, and emailed to Treasurer Bob Rollins. If submitting a handwritten form, include a phone number for legibility.
Referees will have accounts in our system, and payments will be issued biweekly based on completed assignments once the W-9 form is on file. In the first quarter of each year, referees who earned $600+ will receive an IRS Form 1099.

U9, U10: Referee $35, Assistant Referee $22
U11, U12: Referee $45, Assistant Referee $30
U15: Referee $65, Assistant Referee $40
U19: Referee $68, Assistant Referee $42
