If you love the game of soccer, I hope you will consider being a referee for SABR. It’s a great way to make money working with like-minded people while getting exercise and practicing leadership skills.

How to become a Referee
SABR needs qualified referees to manage dozens of games each week. In this section you will learn the requirements to get certified as a referee, who to contact with questions, how to request and receive weekly game assignments, and forms required to receive your payments.
Requrements to be a SABR Referee
- At least 14 years old (due to Florida labor laws)
- Certified by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) via Florida State Referees (FSR) and recertified annually.
- Complete all learning modules on the Laws of the Game
- Safe Soccer module Includes an annual background check if you are 18 or over.
- 5 hours for certifying and 3 hours for recertifying.
