Step onto the Field in a Whole New Way
SABR, in partnership with Florida Soccer Referees (FSR), is recruiting New Referees for our pool of Certified SABR Referees.
This is your chance to learn, earn, and grow in the game.
How It Works
- Role: Typically, new referees start as an Assistant Referee (line judge) for U9 & U10 games. Soon, you’ll be eligible to be an Assistant Referee for older age groups. Move on to Center Referee and up to older age groups as you gain experience.
- Schedule: Saturdays during the season for Under 9 & Under 10. We also have games on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons for older age groups.
- Support: Many Under 9 and Under 10 games have SABR mentors to help you at the games.
- Pay: $23 per game now — and more as you gain experience and move up.
Why Join?
- Earn money doing something you’ll love
- Gain confidence and leadership skills
- Learn responsibility and teamwork
Spaces are limited for New Referees at each group of players. Each season, we have more than 1,000 games at all ages. You’ll get plenty of real game experience.
