Futures Referees Program (Ages 11–13)

Step onto the Field in a Whole New Way

SABR, in partnership with Florida Soccer Referees (FSR), is recruiting Futures Referees — a new program for players ages 11–13 (birthdays between Nov 1, 2011 – Nov 1, 2014) who are not yet old enough to be certified referees.

This is your chance to learn, earn, and grow in the game before becoming a certified referee at age 14.

How It Works

  • Role: Serve as Assistant Referees (line judges) for U9 & U10 games.
  • Schedule: Saturdays during the season.
  • Support: Each game has a certified referee and sideline mentor.
  • Pay: $15 per game now — and $23+ per game once certified at age 14.

Why Join?

  • Earn money doing something you love
  • Gain confidence and leadership skills
  • Learn responsibility and teamwork
  • Take the first step toward becoming a certified referee
  • Futures Referee registration fee includes your uniform kit (jersey, whistle, coin, and cards)

💡 Bonus: SABR reimburses the $40 fee after just your first 8 games this season!

Spaces are limited to only 20 participants this fall. First come first served. You’ll get plenty of real game experience with your mentor standing by to help.
